PCE-BTM 2000A BELT TENSION MEASUREMENT DEVICE

Measures frequncy of oscillation in Hz and calculates tension in N.  Stores up to 750 measurements.  Has multiple language menu

The measurement is made by placing the belt tension probe above the belt and pluck the belt so that it begins to vibrate.  The belt tension meter has an optical distasnce measurement sensor.  As the belt oscillates or vibrates, the distance varies in a sinusoidal manner.  The belt tension meter calculates the frequency of vibration from the distnance measurements and in turn calculates the belt tension force from the frequency.  This device works on belts with length of 8 inch or greater.
