PCE-TDS 100H Water Flow Measurement Device
Measures water flow velocity in 2-28 inch diameter pipes
The ultrasonic water flow meter has a transmitter and receiver which connect to the outside of the pipe. The transmitter sends a sound signal through the pipe and fluid within the pipe which then reaches the receiver. The time in which the signal takes to travel from the transmitter to the receiver is related to the water flow velocity in relation to the sound velocity of the pipe and fluid. The device has data inputs for the pipe diameter, pipe material, and fluid type. It can display measurements of flow velocity, flow volume and total flow in metric and standard units.
Setting up the device requires entering pipe diameter, pipe material and fluid type, applying ultrasonic gel to the transmitter and receiver, attaching the transmitter and receiver to the pipe with the included velcro straps, and reading the data from the display.
